Walker was born June 26, 1976, on the 26th of June, 1976 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania United States of America. Her heritage is African-American as well as an American national. Her parents are Harvey Welker a Native American father, and Julie Welker an African-American mother. She is the daughter of both a Native American father as well as mother who is African American. Walker was educated at the Germantown Friends School (Germantown Region) in Philadelphia where she graduated in 1994. Following her graduation of Harvard College in 1998, she enrolled at Harvard College and earned her Bachelor of Arts. Welker has been married for over 20 years with John Hughes who is a well known marketing director of Merck Philadelphia. The couple are parents to two kids. The couple began a relationship in 2014 with each other. John her husband has an age difference of four years compared to her. Their relationship was developing so well that they took this to the next level. The 4th of March, 2017, they were married. The couple got married in Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. The ceremony took place at the Hyatt at the Hyatt in Philadelphia. The party was only open to close family and friends. Around 300 people were at the event.
