Anne Marie Tiernon launched her career at WMBD 31 Peoria located in Illinois. She joined the station in the year 1989. After that, in 1991, she relocated to Indianapolis and began her anchoring WISH's newscast at 11PM and was anchor of the CBS affiliate's 5:30 PM newscast with colleague Scott Swan.
