Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and grew up in the state. She was a television host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from the same family which has experienced numerous issues. Sheryl was raised by her sibling Frankie. Frankie had suffered from her own illness called Polio. While growing up, Sheryl had many problems with her mother. Sheryl says that her mother had a time when she stabbed her father because he was too close. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from university. Her passion was comedy. She became the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular performer in the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. Also, she's appeared as an unnamed character on shows such as Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
