Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. She is half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish and English descent is also her mother. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. The Taylor-Joy family was a family with six kids. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six when the family moved from the city of Victoria within London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle and she was not able to study English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. After she turned 16, she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as model for professional models.
